If you are planning to immigrate to BC province and are ready to invest and actively manage a business in BC province, you may be eligible to immigrate through BC province’s main entrepreneurship program.
General conditions
- Active and continuous management in daily business activities
- Having permission to enter Canada
Personal, financial, and professional conditions
- Minimum personal capital of 600,000 Canadian dollars
- Business management and/or ownership experience
- At least 3 years of active business ownership or at least 4 years of senior management experience or a combination of one year of business management experience and two years of senior management experience in the last 10 years
- Higher education qualification or 100% business ownership experience for at least three years in the last five years
- And the minimum level of familiarity with English is CLB4
Business terms
- Creating a new business or buying and developing an existing business in BC province (at least 33.33%)
Investment conditions
- Minimum investment of 200,000 Canadian dollars in the business
Employment conditions
- Creating at least one full-time job for a Canadian citizen or Canadian permanent resident
Registration and application fees
- $300 registration fee
- $3,500 filing request fee

The process
- Online registration
- Invitation of the applicants who have the most points
- Appraisal of the applicant’s assets and how to collect the applicant’s assets by approved companies in British Columbia
- Submit the file within 4 months of receiving the invitation
- Issuance of confirmation letter (support letter for a work visa) for successful applicants (possibility of applying for two-year work visa)
- Apply for a work visa
- Creating or developing a business based on an approved business plan
- The minimum time for issuing a provincial selection certificate after completing the business requirements is 18 months
- Sending the file to the federal government of Canada for visa issuance procedures.
